Jarl Hoffer Magnuson

Jarl Hoffer Magnuson

Tall, strong, and ginger-haired, Hoffer Magnuson was even tempered and never lost control. He was well liked in Þýdal and acted as its jarl. He worked as a mercenary when he was younger, serving as a Varangian guard down south in a large city, but by the years before Þýdal's fall he was a farmer. He is married to Gunhild Steinarsdottir. They lived together in the largest longhouse in the village. Hoffer used his mercenary earnings to buy a large amount of land that he farmed, and he paid his friends well to help build the longhouse.
