Rabbits
Small prey animals that support hunting scenes, survival play, and signs of seasonal or magical imbalance.
In the North
Hares and rabbits make better campaign prey than combatants. They are food, tracks, snares, and quick movement in the grass.
Myth and Folklore
Rabbits are not major Norse myth symbols. Their usefulness is practical: they make the world feel lived-in and let wilderness characters show competence.
Campaign Use
Use rabbits as snare targets, familiar animals, or omens when their behavior is wrong: fearless, dead in circles, white out of season, or fleeing from empty ground.
