When Einar came of age, he joined the elite Elven Guard, a prestigious unit known for its rigorous training that combines martial prowess with arcane knowledge. It was here that Einar mastered the art of swordsmanship and defense, donning his chainmail and bearing his longsword and shield with the grace and skill only an elf could possess. His talent and dedication caught the eye of his instructors, who taught him the ancient cantrip “Swift Shield,” a mystical ability that allowed him to summon a spectral shield to protect not just himself but his allies in the heat of battle. This ability quickly became Einar's signature on the battlefield, earning him the respect of his peers and the nickname “Leafwalker,” for his ability to change the tide of battle as swiftly as the wind turns the leaves. However, Einar's destiny was not to remain within the serene borders of Alfheim.
