Caleb Gandalfson

Caleb is a lanky young wizard with wind-reddened cheeks, ink-stained fingers, and a mop of wheat-blonde hair that never quite stays tied back. He dresses in practical travel cloaks patched with family colors, but the inside of every sleeve is lined with cramped magical notes and quick references. A wand of wonder hangs at his belt beside a well-loved woodcarver's knife and his overly-friendly awakened spellbook. He speaks with infectious enthusiasm, always eager to explain a new rune or share a strange folk tale from his travels. When danger approaches he plants his staff, eyes bright behind candle-smoked lenses, ready to unleash disciplined magic on behalf of the people who rely on him.

Participated in the Fall 2024 Suðrey Føreyjar Relic Hook as a second-level human Order of Scribes wizard; helped inspect and patch the damaged longship after the expedition went far off course to the Aetherstone Islands.
Helped settlers in Hjaltland, fought zombies including an ogre zombie from a barrow, found a brass brazier for his owl familiar, and discovered the Atlantean Arcanist's Guide to Wandcraft beneath the barrow.
Oversaw the reconnaissance mission toward occupied Stormroost with MechaKirby, Fireetta, Steve, Kris, and Risar.
Used Comprehend Languages and his spellbook's advice during dangerous reconnaissance scenes.

Owl familiar: summoned after Caleb found the brass brazier in Hjaltland.
