Selbu
Selbu was one of the inland settlements attacked by the goblin, orc, and giant horde before Fires at the Fjordgate. Later groups found it completely burned down, looted, and affected by a purple corruption that sickened local wildlife and animated or twisted the dead.

Campaign History
- The horde burned and looted Selbu months before the rebuilding journeys after Fires at the Fjordgate.
- One group had previously scouted Selbu and found nothing worth looting or saving.
- After Sanura's Sending about Ásgeirr's poisoning interrupted The River Road to Ruined Villages, the caravan in Wolves on the Road to Selbu followed up on that unfinished mission and reached Selbu with settlers hoping to rebuild.
- The party healed six corrupted wolves near Selbu and later negotiated a territory agreement between the settlers and Stormhowl's pack.
- After the wolf-settler agreement, Stormhowl's pack returned to ask the party for help because Lesser Stone Trolls had taken over the pack's home caves.
- The party burned visible purple mushrooms in and around the village, making it safer for rebuilding.
- The the adventuring party later stopped at Selbu on the way to Hearthforge and found it completely burned down and looted.
