Gullinbursti
Freyr’s golden boar, forged by dwarves: a shining divine mount, not a normal animal or random monster.
In the North
Gullinbursti is best used as mythic precedent. A lesser golden boar might be a divine omen, a dwarven construct, or a sacred guardian tied to Freyr.
Myth and Folklore
The dwarves Brokkr and Sindri make Gullinbursti, whose bristles shine and who can run through air and over sea. The boar connects craft, fertility, kingship, and divine splendor.
Campaign Use
Use Gullinbursti as a sign of Freyr’s favor, a sacred mount, or the inspiration for golden boar constructs and festival masks.
