Spiders
Web-builders of sheds, caves, old halls, and dark forests, easily shifted from natural pest to horror symbol.
In the North
Ordinary spiders are everywhere people leave corners undisturbed. Giant spiders are fantasy creatures, but they fit deep woods, abandoned mines, and magically changed ruins.
Myth and Folklore
Spiders are not prominent in surviving Norse myth, but weaving imagery matters broadly in northern fate traditions. That makes spider webs useful visual language for fate, traps, and patient danger.
Campaign Use
Use spiders as small atmosphere, giant ambushers, poison threats, or signs that a passage has been unused by living people for too long.
