====== Thordak's Floating Bastion ======

Thordak's Floating Bastion is a small series of [[campaigns:latitude_history:lore:aetherstone|Aetherstone]]-supported floating islands deep in the mountains north of [[campaigns:latitude_history:places:nidaross|Niðaróss]]. The islands have buildings on them and are tied to [[campaigns:latitude_history:characters:thordak-faerdhal|Thordak Faerdhal]]'s guarded knowledge of Aetherstone, his dragon companion [[campaigns:latitude_history:characters:skythor|Skythor]], and the trusted circle that includes [[campaigns:latitude_history:characters:netheril-faerdhal|Netheril Faerdhal]] and [[campaigns:latitude_history:characters:kara-stormtongue|Kara Stormtongue]].
The bastion mostly follows the D&D bastion rules. Its exact mechanical facility list should be matched to the rulebook during later character-management work, but the current campaign functions are clear.
