Stormroost

Stormroost is a dragonborn stronghold in the mountains northeast of Niðaróss. Risar Stormborn is from Stormroost, and later records after Fires at the Fjordgate connect the surrounding foothills to escaped worgs, goblin kennels, Grishnak's poison work, and hidden dragonborn refugees.

• Risar Stormborn was hatched in Stormroost and is tied to its leadership.
• The goblin, orc, and giant horde captured Stormroost before attacking Niðaróss, routing dragonborn communities in the broader mountain region.
• After Fires at the Fjordgate, worgs and goblin kennel remnants below Stormroost became a problem for the adventuring party.
• Ásgeirr's assassination poison was later traced toward Stormroost's occupied worg kennels.
• Fireetta, Shadow, and Lumen were captured during the Stormroost investigation.
• Grishnak killed Fireetta by testing a new worg-poison variant on her before the rescue.
• Kris Stormblade, Frost Stormscales, and the hidden dragonborns rescued Shadow and Lumen from Stormroost.
• Kris and Frost rallied hidden dragonborn refugees at the Fang-Mouth / Fang-Tooth Cave during the retaking of the village.
• Grishnak was killed during the retaking.
• Ragna Scaleheart became Jarl of reclaimed Stormroost.
• Stormroost is slowly rebuilding. Some survivors from Fang-Mouth Cave returned, and a few dragonborn who had fled to Niðaróss also returned, but the settlement is still below its original population size.
• Some survivors who had hidden in Fang-Mouth Cave stayed there as helpers for Kris in Kris Stormblade's Bastion, instead of returning to Stormroost.
• Leif Arrowsong's grandfather's hidden magic item or secret is tied to that cave near Stormroost.
