====== Orkanger ======

Orkanger is a campaign-modified version of a real coastal town where the river Ork meets Orkdal Fjord, an arm of Þróndheimsfjorden. In the campaign it blends human Viking [[culture:longhouse|longhouse]] traditions with sea-elf architecture, water magic, river life, and fjord dangers such as giant squids.

  * Wavesia and [[campaigns:latitude_history:characters:fireetta-fjordmist|Fireetta Fjordmist]] grew up in Orkanger.
  * Wavesia's water magic emerged around the rivers and streams near town.
  * Fireetta's contrasting fire-oriented magic developed in the same sea-elf home context, with her family teaching her discipline because open flame is dangerous in a sea-elf settlement.
  * Fireetta later traveled to [[campaigns:latitude_history:places:nidaross|Niðaróss]] to expand her arcane knowledge and sought Caleb because of his knowledge from the Atlantean Arcanist's Guide to Wandcraft.
