Amelia Frodedottir is a halfling barbarian from [[campaigns:latitude_history:places:thydal|Þýdal]]. She first became important to the wider campaign as the only known survivor of the [[campaigns:latitude_history:adventures:the-warning-from-hearthforge|Hearthforge Scouting Mission]], where the party discovered the approaching goblin, orc, and giant army. Her return warning gave Þýdal time to call a Thing, build defenses, recover star metal, secure [[campaigns:latitude_history:characters:frod-erikson|Fróð Erikson]] as an ally, and prepare an evacuation route, saving the people even though the village itself fell.
