Scrolls that are not spell scrolls can be used by anyone. Example: Scroll of Protection
A spell scroll bears the words of a single spell, written in a mystical cipher.
If the scroll contains a spell above your casting level:
Spell Level | Rarity | Save DC | Attack Bonus |
---|---|---|---|
Cantrip | Common | 13 | +5 |
1st | Common | 13 | +5 |
2nd | Uncommon | 13 | +5 |
3rd | Uncommon | 15 | +7 |
4th | Rare | 15 | +7 |
5th | Rare | 17 | +9 |
6th | Very Rare | 17 | +9 |
7th | Very Rare | 18 | +10 |
8th | Very Rare | 18 | +10 |

Wizards can copy spell scrolls like from a spellbook.
Order of Scribes: May use Wizardly Quill, reducing time to 2 minutes per level.
A spellcaster can create a scroll for a known/prepared spell.
Spell Level | Time | Cost |
---|---|---|

1st | 1 Day | 25 gp |
2nd | 3 Days | 250 gp |
