Þýdal is a small inland farming village deep in a mountainous Norway-inspired region. It is often a good starting point for adventures because the village is small enough to understand quickly, while still being close to forests, rivers, farms, mountains, and old trails.
Þýdal works best as a close-knit settlement where everyone knows everyone else. Farmers, hunters, woodworkers, gardeners, healers, and village elders all have reasons to ask young adventurers for help.
