Fang-Mouth Cave

Fang-Mouth Cave is a hidden cave near Stormroost marked by two sharp rocks descending from above like the teeth of a mountain lion. Dragonborn refugees from Stormroost hid there after the goblin, orc, and giant horde took their village. Inside, cave murals and oral prophecy identify Kris Stormblade as the hero who would claim the fang-bastion. The cave is also tied to a secret from Leif Arrowsong's grandfather, who hid a magic item here or in a hidden side passage connected to this cave. After Stormroost was reclaimed, not all refugees returned to the village. Some survivors stayed at Fang-Mouth Cave and now serve as helpers for Kris in Kris Stormblade's Bastion.

• Leif's grandfather described a cave with two tooth-like rocks and a hidden magic item. This is the Fang-Mouth / Fang-Tooth Cave near Stormroost, not the Hearthforge caves.

• After Grishnak was killed and Stormroost was reclaimed, the party spent about a week at the cave before returning to Niðaróss to report the results of the poison investigation and Stormroost's reclamation.
