Atlantean Outpost Under the Tree

The Atlantean Outpost Under the Tree is a buried ruin reached through a cave among the roots of the tree from Chad Darrelson's patron vision. The entrance descended thousands of feet into a large cavern before opening into an Atlantean archway, decorated halls, guardian chambers, an armory, and training areas.

• Chad's patron gave him a vision of the tree and the command to dig.
• Chad, Thorin Steinson, Bartholomew, and Netheril entered the Atlantean archway before the full party regrouped.
• Tile murals in the hall showed Atlantean greatness and magical or enhanced darts.
• An animated warrior statue, an Atlantean Guardian Construct, guarded a circular chamber and knocked Chad unconscious before Thordak revived him.
• The party reached an armory and found relics later assigned to specific characters: Netheril's Orb of Crafting, Kara's Infernal Orb, Amelia's flame-tongue spear, and Thordak's Explosive Darts and Aetherstone Darts, also described as gravity darts.
• The guardian statue revived itself while the party was in the armory and returned to its pedestal.
• Chad, Bartholomew, and Amelia left after the armory, cut the rope needed to climb out, boarded the longship, and sped away.
• Netheril used the Orb of Crafting to empower Aetherstone crystals into anti-gravity items, attached one to the rope, and allowed the remaining party members to escape.
