Fróð Erikson

Fróð Erikson is a high elf wizard born sometime before the reign of Julius Caesar in an unknown village in Gotland. He traveled widely and spent time in Rome, where he studied the arcane arts. After that he wandered around Europe, but as his power and fame grew, he realized that what he really wanted was to be left alone in seclusion so he could further his studies. Fróð moved to a sheltered valley deep in Norway and built a tower there so he could build a library and tinker with arcane devices. He placed permanent illusions around the area to help keep the valley undiscovered. Over time, he made alliances with local tribes and helped them in various ways.
