Bjorn Vigrasson

Bjorn Vigrasson—whose name means “Bear, son of battle wrath”—was born in Niðaróss, where he spent his early years like most Norse children: running wild, learning the ways of the sea, and hardening himself for a life of adventure. But Bjorn’s restless spirit pushed him to seek more than the simple life of his village. When he came of age, he joined a band of warriors traveling to Constantinople, where he earned a place among the prestigious Varangian Guard. In Constantinople, Bjorn quickly honed his combat skills, becoming a master of both axe and blade in the Emperor’s service. Yet, it was not just physical prowess that would shape his destiny. During his time in the bustling city, Bjorn crossed paths with a Warforged wizard named Mechakirby—a living construct, forged from metal and magic, whose very existence defied the laws of nature. Fascinated by this strange being, Bjorn found in Mechakirby a kindred spirit, someone who saw warfare not only as brute strength but as an art, a blend of strategy, skill, and sorcery.
