You were the kid who stole pies cooling on windowsills. You snuck around your village eavesdropping on local gossip, learned which adults noticed too much, and found every gap in a fence, wall, or crowded hall.

When people chased you, you usually got away. Maybe you squirmed through tight spaces, scrambled over roofs, climbed trees, vanished among market crowds, or swung through ship rigging before anyone could grab you. Those habits made you useful long before anyone called you an adventurer.
