Like most common folk, you grew up on a farm. Perhaps your parents owned land, or perhaps they worked another person's fields as tenant farmers. You sowed crops, raised animals, and helped your family and neighbors most when harvest time demanded every available hand.

You know the land or region where you labored in a way most travelers do not. You can recall details that other adventurers might dismiss as insignificant: soil quality, tilling techniques, planting and harvest seasons, grazing patterns, local weather signs, and the anatomy and behavior of herd animals.

  * Skill Proficiencies: harvesting local fruits and growing oats and barley gave you a thorough understanding of Nature. Raising and slaughtering livestock taught you Animal Handling.
  * Tool Proficiencies: helping with harvests on your farm and in your community made you proficient with Vehicles (land).
