Fjorglimt is [[campaigns:latitude_history:characters:risar-stormborn|Risar Stormborn]]'s named sentient sword. The name means or evokes fjord-light or lightning over the fjord, matching Risar's storm and thunder imagery. It is a straight, double-edged Viking sword forged from sky-forged steel, with a broad blade etched in coiling knotwork and ancient runes that glow electric blue when the weapon hungers for battle.
The pommel is a snarling blue dragon head with twin sapphires for eyes. Leather wraps the hilt in the old style of Risar's grandfather, the great warrior who carried it through storms and giant-kin wars.

  * Lightning arc: when Awakened Divine Smite is used, each creature of Risar's choice within 5 feet of the target must make a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw or take 1d6 lightning damage. Creatures that succeed take no damage.
  * Personality: proud, battle-hungry, and protective of the Stormborn bloodline.
  * Purpose: to strike down the unworthy and protect the clan.
